The Kroon Mips helmet is designed for skiing and snowboarding adventures, for optimal safety on the snow and a perfect day in the mountains. It has everything a safe and modern ski helmet should have. It consists of a Hi-EPS core that absorbs the impact of falls and a robust shell that is available in a wide range of colors. The soft lining that can be removed and cleaned ensures optimal comfort. The Kroon is also equipped with Mips technology, which means that the inner shell of the helmet is flexible and reduces rotational forces on the brain in the event of a fall. However, this does not mean that the helmet is constantly moving back and forth when you have it on your head. The ventilation, which can be closed manually on cold days, brings fresh air into the helmet. The Ergo Snow size adjustment system allows the Kroon Mips to be individually adjusted to the user's head.

Features:

• Inmold: the technology involves heating the outer polycarbonate shell to a high temperature and baking it onto the EPS shell at high pressure. The process creates a permanent bond across the entire surface of the outer and inner shells, making the helmet extremely light and stable;
• MIPS: Multi-Directional Impact Protection System is a technology that reduces rotational forces that occur during a fall or head impact. In the event of an impact to the helmet, the hard outer shell first acts. Then the inner foam shell compresses, which presses against the MIPS layer. Since the friction between the two layers is very low, the shell does not press against the head, but slides slightly in the direction of the impact. This movement is enough to drastically reduce the force and thus the consequences of a head impact.
• The tried and tested Ergomatic buckle is used on all Alpina helmets. Multi-stage adjustment, controlled with just one hand. The buckle also cannot unfasten itself in the event of an accident.
