TWO-PART LUBRICANT FORMULA

After your All Weather Link Lube has been sitting for a while, the lubricant will separate into two components – a clear base lubricant at the top and a mysterious blue “secret sauce” that will slowly sink to the bottom of the bottle. Don’t worry! This is an important feature that allows our lubricant to be used in all weather conditions. The secret sauce is a unique blend of oils and waxes that are usually only found individually in wet or dry lubricants. Through a lot of hard work in the lab, we have managed to combine them into one super lubricant that can provide incredibly long-lasting protection in wet conditions, while remaining unusually clean in dry and dusty conditions. The clear base lubricant is a corrosion-resistant, fast-penetrating oil that displaces water and – when mixed with the “secret sauce” – will find its way into every nook and cranny of your chain. When it reaches the deep, narrow areas of the chain, it will displace moisture, sand, and dirt, leaving behind only a “skid sauce” that reduces friction, reduces vibration, and reduces drivetrain noise.

When All Weather LinkLube is first used on a used (but seemingly clean) drivetrain, the chain can turn black quite quickly. Oh, don't panic! This is actually a great feature of LinkLube, removing dirt that has been hiding deep within your chain. Simply continue to degrease and reapply, and after a few rides, your chain will eventually become clean again!
