The back of the XIMO helmet is deeply drawn to provide optimal protection. The edges of the helmet are additionally protected with Edge Protect technology. The vents prevent the sun's rays from falling directly on the head, while ensuring sufficient ventilation. The flat shape at the back of the head makes it ideal for child seats and trailers. For optimal visibility, the helmet can be optionally equipped with a Multi-Fit Light. The adjustment to the shape of the head is carried out via the three-dimensional Run System Classic Slide.

• HI-EPS: The inner mold of Alpina helmets is made of HI-EPS (expandable polystyrene). This material is composed of microscopic air spaces that effectively absorb the forces generated upon impact.
• Inmold Tec: In INMOLD helmets, the inner layer is converted into foam under high pressure and heat and glued under the outer layer. Because the inner and outer parts are completely connected, INMOLD helmets are extremely stable and very light. They also provide significantly more safety than point-glued helmets.
• CERAMIC SHELL: the name for the outer shell of all Alpina helmets made using the Inmold process. It is a thin, lightweight material that is extremely resistant to impacts and scratches, contains UV stabilizers and is antistatic.
• Run System Ergo Flex + - the rotating knob at the back of the head allows for easy adjustment of the helmet size to the head, ensuring perfect fit and safety.
• ERGOMATIC: the buckle that has been tried and tested countless times is used on all Alpina helmets. Multi-stage adjustment, controlled with just one hand. The buckle also cannot unfasten on its own in the event of an accident.
• Y-CLIP: The Y-clip connects the front and rear straps under the ears. When the clip is unfastened, the straps can be easily repositioned and fine-tuned. This allows for an optimal fit of the helmet.
