The Alpina ROCA is a full face cycling helmet for difficult mountain routes that are covered with roots and stones and can be quite tricky. • Inmold Tec: In INMOLD helmets, the inner layer is converted into foam under high pressure and heat and glued under the outer layer. Because the inner and outer parts are completely connected, INMOLD helmets are extremely stable and very light. They also provide significantly more safety than point-glued helmets.
• HI-EPS: The inner mold of Alpina helmets is made of HI-EPS (expandable polystyrene). This material is composed of microscopic air spaces that effectively absorb the forces generated upon impact.
• Ceramic shell: the name for the outer shell of all Alpina helmets made using the Inmold process. It is a thin, lightweight material that is extremely resistant to impacts and scratches, contains UV stabilizers and is antistatic.
• Edge protect: a protective layer that makes the helmet more resistant to breaks and scratches and offers additional protection against external influences during frequent use
• Fidlock: magnetic buckle for fastening the helmet under the chin offers faster fastening
